Description
Fine dining has come of age in Delhi and doesn't only mean reaching for high profile delicacies in an opulent ambience. The taste has evolved into an attempt to check out less opulent but more popular eating joints, nestling in some virgin pockets of Old Delhi. Famous for its layered parathas – a type of bread friend on a griddle and made without yeasts – the "Gali" flaunts of three families there who have been involved in the art of turning out parathas for generations. The whole landscape of Delhi is peppered with numerous street side stalls selling anything from 'chaats' to delicious 'kulfis'.
